: Oke kita mulai :
Masuk ke "regedit" dan lihat / cari tulisan :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JetCar\JetCar\General
buka "General"

Using Gmail to Filter Spam On Existing Mail Accounts
0 komentarSpam sucks. We all know that. The question is how to stop it. Those of us who use Google’s Gmail have very little spam problem. Google’s spam filtering is VERY good. When I was using Outlook as my mail client, I was using the paid Cloudmark plug-in to defeat spam. It beats the hell out of the built-in spam filtering on ANY mail client. But, since moving to Gmail, my spam problem has been even less than with Cloudmark. And I don’t have to spend a dime for it.
But, what if you don’t want to use a gmail.com email address? Perhaps you are using an address tied to your own domain name or from your ISP. You might not want to switch. Well, I have good news and no, it doesn’t have to do with my car insurance. But, I did save a boatload of money on my spam problem by switching to Gmail. And I didn’t have to change my email address.
Gmail as a Go-Between
Gmail is not a self-contained, web-based mail service. They have opened it up to POP3 access and, most recently, to IMAP as well. But, that’s the download side of things. What if you already have an email account elsewhere? Well, Gmail also has the ability to log into an EXTERNAL mail account and fetch the email, bringing it into Gmail.
So, how can you use this to filter out your spam?
Get a Gmail account if you don’t already have one. Then, set it up to get email from your external, existing mail account. If you don’t know if you’re going to like this yet, you can tell Gmail to leave the email on your server so that you don’t split your email up among two servers. Now, with your email coming into Gmail, you can enable POP3 or IMAP access on the Gmail account and then point your email client to download email from Gmail. So, what you have is the exact same email, coming from the exact same account, but via Gmail.
And what do you know, all your spam is being filtered out by Gmail in the process!
If you use POP3 access, all the email will be removed from Gmail servers and downloaded to your client. If you use IMAP, your mail client will simply mirror what is on the server - a great option if you want fully portable mail that looks the same regardless of what computer you are using.
The Gotcha
If you happen to have several email accounts, this system might not be perfect for you. While Gmail will allow you to bring in email from more than one external account, once it gets to Gmail it is all in one place. That means that Gmail will act as a funnel, sending all your mail accounts through one single mail account. Likely you can just use filters on the client side to split your mail up according to the address it originally came in on, but if you actually send your different email address to different physical email files, that will be hard to pull off.
Otherwise (and for most of you), this is a very workable, free way to fight spam on your existing email address.

Moving Files from Windows to Mac
0 komentarWhen you make the switch from a Windows box to a Mac, you are going to need to copy all of your data files over to the Mac. The quickest way to do that is over a network. Yes, you can use “old school” media such as CDs, DVDs or USB thumb drives, but this is very tedious and will take forever. Networking the Windows and Mac machines is actually not very hard. It is not quite as straightforward as networking two Windows machines together, but if I can manage to do it on my second day using OS X, it can’t be too hard.
Networking Windows and Mac OS X
Windows and Mac come from different ends of the operating system spectrum, but luckily both are easy enough to use that networking them together isn’t brain surgery. Here is how to set it up so as to be able to move files from your Windows machine to the Mac. I am going to assume you know at least some basic networking here.
1. Under Windows, you need to find our your workgroup name if you don’t already know it. So, go to Control Panel -> System -> Computer Name. Your workgroup will be listed. Make note of it as you will need to set the Mac up to use it.
2. Find the folders your data is in that you want to move and enable file sharing on those folders if not already done.
3. Now, on the Mac, go to System Preferences -> Sharing. Enable file sharing on the Mac by checking that option. Next, click Options and be sure “Share Files and folders using SMB” is checked. Select your Mac username from the list by checking that. Hit Done.
4. Next, go to Network under System Preferences. Hit the Advanced button. Go to the “WINS” tab and enter or select your workgroup name. Hit OK.
5. In Finder, select “Connect to Server…”. Enter “smb://[IP ADDRESS]/[SHARE NAME]” and hit Connect. [IP ADDRESS] is the IP address of your Windows machine. [SHARE NAME] is the name you assigned to the shared folder on your Windows machine. If you do not know the IP address of your Windows machine on your network, go to the command prompt and type in “ipconfig”.
6. If all works correctly, the Mac should be able to connect to and display the files in your shared folder inside of Finder. From there, you can copy the files over to your Mac and place them wherever you want.

Top 3 Free Product Key Finder Programs
0 komentarif you're preparing to reinstall an operating system (for example, doing a clean install of Windows XP) or another program, you will need to find your copy of the software's product key (CD key). Normally this product key is located with the original manual or CD.
If you've lost your product key you can often find it in the registry but this can be very difficult to do. Luckily, there are many free key finder programs available to help.
Below are the top 3 free key finder programs.
1. Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder
The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder program is a free utility that retrieves product keys from the registry. It also has the ability to change the product key for the Windows XP operating system if need be.

Preapring Windows PE to Boot from a USB Thumb Drive
0 komentarThese steps will take you through preparing a USB ram drive (thumb drive, pen drive, or how ever you care to refer to it) so that you may use it to boot your Windows PE image without the need of a hard drive (or bootable CD/DVD). These steps assume you have already generated your Windows PE folder structure where you would typically burn it to an ISO image.
1) Run diskpart from command prompt running as administrator (right click the command prompt icon and choose “Run As Administrator”)
2) Type the command: list disk to see the available disks and note the one that represents your USB thumb drive
3) Select the disk: select disk # where # is the disk you determined in the above step
4) Now that the proper disk is selected, prepare it with the clean command by typing clean
5) Now create a partition on the clean drive by typing: create partition primary
6) Select the new partition by typing: select partition 1
7) Set the partition as active by typing: active
8 ) Format the partition as FAT32 by typing: format fs=fat32
9) Assign the new partition by typing: assign
10) Type exit to quit diskpart
Now you are ready to copy the files. The location from which you want to copy the files is the folder created which would normally serve as the contents of your ISO file. For example: c:\images\winpe\iso
Typically this file will contain three folders and a file: directories: boot, EFI, and source. file: bootmgr. Simply copy these files to the prepared USB thumb drive root and you are ready to go!
With the RAM drive inserted, you will either need to go into the computer’s BIOS settings at boot up and arrange the boot order to place the USB drive above the system hard drive. Alternatively most systems have a “Boot Menu” keystroke such as F12 which will let you choose the device to which you want to boot.

22 ways of speeding Up Windows XP
0 komentar1.) To decrease a system's boot time and increase system performance, use the money you save by not buying defragmentation software -- the built-in Windows defragmenter works just fine -- and instead equip the computer with an Ultra-133 or Serial ATA hard drive with 8-MB cache buffer.
2.) If a PC has less than 512 MB of RAM, add more memory. This is a relatively inexpensive and easy upgrade that can dramatically improve system performance.
3.) Ensure that Windows XP is utilizing the NTFS file system. If you're not sure, here's how to check: First, double-click the My Computer icon, right-click on the C: Drive, then select Properties. Next, examine the File System type; if it says FAT32, then back-up any important data. Next, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the prompt, type CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS and press the Enter key. This process may take a while; it's important that the computer be uninterrupted and virus-free. The file system used by the bootable drive will be either FAT32 or NTFS. I highly recommend NTFS for its superior security, reliability, and efficiency with larger disk drives.
4.) Disable file indexing. The indexing service extracts information from documents and other files on the hard drive and creates a "searchable keyword index." As you can imagine, this process can be quite taxing on any system.
The idea is that the user can search for a word, phrase, or property inside a document, should they have hundreds or thousands of documents and not know the file name of the document they want. Windows XP's built-in search functionality can still perform these kinds of searches without the Indexing service. It just takes longer. The OS has to open each file at the time of the request to help find what the user is looking for.
Most people never need this feature of search. Those who do are typically in a large corporate environment where thousands of documents are located on at least one server. But if you're a typical system builder, most of your clients are small and medium businesses. And if your clients have no need for this search feature, I recommend disabling it.
Here's how: First, double-click the My Computer icon. Next, right-click on the C: Drive, then select Properties. Uncheck "Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching." Next, apply changes to "C: subfolders and files," and click OK. If a warning or error message appears (such as "Access is denied"), click the Ignore All button.
5.) Update the PC's video and motherboard chipset drivers. Also, update and configure the BIOS. For more information on how to configure your BIOS properly, see this article on my site.
6.) Empty the Windows Prefetch folder every three months or so. Windows XP can "prefetch" portions of data and applications that are used frequently. This makes processes appear to load faster when called upon by the user. That's fine. But over time, the prefetch folder may become overloaded with references to files and applications no longer in use. When that happens, Windows XP is wasting time, and slowing system performance, by pre-loading them. Nothing critical is in this folder, and the entire contents are safe to delete.
7.) Once a month, run a disk cleanup. Here's how: Double-click the My Computer icon. Then right-click on the C: drive and select Properties. Click the Disk Cleanup button -- it's just to the right of the Capacity pie graph -- and delete all temporary files.
8.) In your Device Manager, double-click on the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers device, and ensure that DMA is enabled for each drive you have connected to the Primary and Secondary controller. Do this by double-clicking on Primary IDE Channel. Then click the Advanced Settings tab. Ensure the Transfer Mode is set to "DMA if available" for both Device 0 and Device 1. Then repeat this process with the Secondary IDE Channel.
9.) Upgrade the cabling. As hard-drive technology improves, the cabling requirements to achieve these performance boosts have become more stringent. Be sure to use 80-wire Ultra-133 cables on all of your IDE devices with the connectors properly assigned to the matching Master/Slave/Motherboard sockets. A single device must be at the end of the cable; connecting a single drive to the middle connector on a ribbon cable will cause signaling problems. With Ultra DMA hard drives, these signaling problems will prevent the drive from performing at its maximum potential. Also, because these cables inherently support "cable select," the location of each drive on the cable is important. For these reasons, the cable is designed so drive positioning is explicitly clear.
10.) Remove all spyware from the computer. Use free programs such as AdAware by Lavasoft or SpyBot Search & Destroy. Once these programs are installed, be sure to check for and download any updates before starting your search. Anything either program finds can be safely removed. Any free software that requires spyware to run will no longer function once the spyware portion has been removed; if your customer really wants the program even though it contains spyware, simply reinstall it. For more information on removing Spyware visit this Web Pro News page.
11.) Remove any unnecessary programs and/or items from Windows Startup routine using the MSCONFIG utility. Here's how: First, click Start, click Run, type MSCONFIG, and click OK. Click the StartUp tab, then uncheck any items you don't want to start when Windows starts. Unsure what some items are? Visit the WinTasks Process Library. It contains known system processes, applications, as well as spyware references and explanations. Or quickly identify them by searching for the filenames using Google or another Web search engine.
12.) Remove any unnecessary or unused programs from the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel.
13.) Turn off any and all unnecessary animations, and disable active desktop. In fact, for optimal performance, turn off all animations. Windows XP offers many different settings in this area. Here's how to do it: First click on the System icon in the Control Panel. Next, click on the Advanced tab. Select the Settings button located under Performance. Feel free to play around with the options offered here, as nothing you can change will alter the reliability of the computer -- only its responsiveness.
14.) If your customer is an advanced user who is comfortable editing their registry, try some of the performance registry tweaks offered at Tweak XP.
15.) Visit Mcft's Windows update site regularly, and download all updates labeled Critical. Download any optional updates at your discretion.
16.) Update the customer's anti-virus software on a weekly, even daily, basis. Make sure they have only one anti-virus software package installed. Mixing anti-virus software is a sure way to spell disaster for performance and reliability.
17.) Make sure the customer has fewer than 500 type fonts installed on their computer. The more fonts they have, the slower the system will become. While Windows XP handles fonts much more efficiently than did the previous versions of Windows, too many fonts -- that is, anything over 500 -- will noticeably tax the system.
18.) Do not partition the hard drive. Windows XP's NTFS file system runs more efficiently on one large partition. The data is no safer on a separate partition, and a reformat is never necessary to reinstall an operating system. The same excuses people offer for using partitions apply to using a folder instead. For example, instead of putting all your data on the D: drive, put it in a folder called "D drive." You'll achieve the same organizational benefits that a separate partition offers, but without the degradation in system performance. Also, your free space won't be limited by the size of the partition; instead, it will be limited by the size of the entire hard drive. This means you won't need to resize any partitions, ever. That task can be time-consuming and also can result in lost data.
19.) Check the system's RAM to ensure it is operating properly. I recommend using a free program called MemTest86. The download will make a bootable CD or diskette (your choice), which will run 10 extensive tests on the PC's memory automatically after you boot to the disk you created. Allow all tests to run until at least three passes of the 10 tests are completed. If the program encounters any errors, turn off and unplug the computer, remove a stick of memory (assuming you have more than one), and run the test again. Remember, bad memory cannot be repaired, but only replaced.
20.) If the PC has a CD or DVD recorder, check the drive manufacturer's Web site for updated firmware. In some cases you'll be able to upgrade the recorder to a faster speed. Best of all, it's free.
21.) Disable unnecessary services. Windows XP loads a lot of services that your customer most likely does not need. To determine which services you can disable for your client, visit the Black Viper site for Windows XP configurations.
22.) If you're sick of a single Windows Explorer window crashing and then taking the rest of your OS down with it, then follow this tip: open My Computer, click on Tools, then Folder Options. Now click on the View tab. Scroll down to "Launch folder windows in a separate process," and enable this option. You'll have to reboot your machine for this option to take effect.

Dual Boot Ubuntu and Windows
0 komentar
Some of the Windows users that want to give Ubuntu Linux a try and don't want to give up their Windows system can always choose to have them both in the
same machine. And this also applies for people that need both Windows and
Linux on the same PC for business purposes. A dual boot machine has either multiple hard disks or multiple hard disk partitions, with each partition or drive containing an operating system. Now there are different methods to achieve a correct dual boot system, it's your decision which one you want to give it a try.
Method 1: The easy way
You can choose the brand new Ubuntu Installer for Windows machines. The aim of this installer is to provide an easier way for a Windows user to install Ubuntu Linux without having to know how to repartition the disks or to set up a multiboot system.
Note: With this installer, you can also choose to install Kubuntu (Ubuntu with KDE desktop) or Xubuntu (Ubuntu with XFCE desktop).
Method 2: The hard way
1. Make sure your Windows partition is defragmented and backup any important data.
2. Boot from the Ubuntu Desktop CD, double click on the Install icon on the desktop and follow the normal installation instructions. When you arrive at the Partitioning screen, select the option that let's you resize IDE1 master, partition #1 (hda1) and use the free space.
Note: Remember that IDE1 master, partition #1 (hda1) represents the First partition on the First hard drive.
The partitioner will ask you how much space you wish to distribute to Linux partition, just enter the desired amount of space (I recommend around 5-6 GB). Continue with the installation.
3. After the installation is over, reboot the machine and you will be able to select from Windows or Ubuntu at boot time.

Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn)
0 komentarUbuntu (IPA pronunciation: /u'buntu/) is a widely used Linux distribution predominantly targeted at personal computers. Based on Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu concentrates on usability, regular releases, ease of installation, and freedom from legal restrictions. Ubuntu is sponsored by Canonical Ltd., a private company founded by South African entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth.
The name of the distribution comes from the Zulu and Xhosa concept of ubuntu, which means "I am what I am because of who we all are". Ubuntu’s slogan – “Linux for Human Beings”, encapsulates one of its main goals – making Linux more available and easy to use.
The most recent version, Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn), was released on April 19, 2007. Version 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) is scheduled for release on October 18, 2007
The desktop CD allows you to try Ubuntu without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. This type of CD is what most people will want to use. You will need at least 192MB of RAM to install from this CD.
There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:
For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc type processors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well as newer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the Intel x86 images instead.

50 Web Usability Tips
0 komentarWeb usability is something that many site owners don’t pay enough attention to, even though it can be the key factor that will make your users come back over and over again.
Maki over at DoshDosh has spent a considerable amount of time compiling a list of 50 web usability tips, which he’s even taken the time to categorize. The post also has a list of additional references so that readers can really through themselves into the topic.
Some of the tips I found most interesting were:
1. Remove the ‘homepage‘ link on the homepage because it can increase navigational confusion. This will make the user doubt that the homepage is indeed the actual homepage.
2. Follow conventions for web design (”blue for hypertext links“) This will allow site visitors to mainly focus on your content instead of using their mental power to learn how to use your website.
3. Simplicity is Rule #1 for usability. The less features there are available in a design, the less there will be to compete for the user’s attention.
4. Try to mainly rely on typography instead of bloated designs and graphics. The goal is to enhance appearance without delaying the response time. The blandest sites can get the most page views and users.
5. Change the color of visited links. This will allow users to decide where to go next on your website. Links that don’t change color can cause navigational disorientation in users.

If a Device Doesn’t Work, Try Updating Its Driver
0 komentarWhen installing a new device, and it doesn’t work, don’t automatically assume that the device is defective. The problem is more likely to be a driver issue, especially if you are running a different Windows version than the driver was specifically written for.
Visit the device manufacturer’s Web site and download any updated drivers or patches and install them. Only after you have installed the most recent driver and software versions should you seriously suspect a physical problem with the hardware.
If you can’t make a new device work, don’t be shy about calling the toll-free support line for the hardware manufacturer. Their telephone support technicians will be aware of any late-breaking issues with the device, and if they can’t help you make it work they can direct you to the Returns department.

Use MSCONFIG To Turn Off Drivers and Applications that Load at Startup
0 komentarIf you are able to identify the driver or application that’s causing a startup problem, the obvious solution is to remove it or turn it off. Unfortunately, it is not always obvious how to do that. Programs that load at startup can be called from Win.ini, from the Startup program group, or directly from the Registry itself; drivers that load are called from the device’s properties in the Registry, and it’s not easy or safe for a beginning technician to edit the Registry directly.
For example, suppose a user had a scanner with a driver that loaded at startup, but then he removed the scanner and its software. However, for some reason the Registry never got the message and still tries to load the scanner driver at startup. You could look in the Startup folder on the Start menu, and if a utility for the scanner appears there, remove it. You could also look in Add/Remove Programs to see whether the driver can be uninstalled that way. But failing those two, the only thing left to do is edit the Registry to get rid of it.
Most versions of Windows come with a utility called the System Configuration Utility, also known by the name of the executable that starts it: MSCONFIG. This is a handy, safer way of editing the startup options in the Registry; you can turn individual items on or off freely, trying various combinations until you narrow down the problem.
To run it use Start/Run and type MSCONFIG. You can access this utility from Safe Mode, so you can use it to troubleshoot problems that prevent Windows from starting normally as well.
Each of the tabs enables you to deselect individual lines in the startup routine. For example, the Startup tab lists all the programs and utilities that are set to automatically load at startup. You can deselect a line and then try restarting Windows again to see whether that line was the root of the problem. If it wasn’t, come back to MSCONFIG, re-select it, and try deselecting something else.

Try Safe Mode and Step-by-Step Confirmation to Troubleshoot Windows Startup Issues
0 komentarSuppose you get video, and can get into the BIOS, but Windows won’t start. If it doesn’t even attempt to start — for example, if a hard disk error crops up before you see the Windows splash screen — then you’re probably looking at a hard disk problem. But if the Windows startup process begins and then aborts, a faulty or conflicting device driver is probably the cause. This can occur because of a FAT error, or after upgrading to a new Windows version, after installing a new driver for an existing device, or after installing an entirely new device.
If Windows locks up during startup, the next time you start it, a Windows Startup menu appears offering to allow you to start in Safe Mode. (You can also call up this Windows Startup menu by pressing F8 when you see the message “Starting Windows.”) Safe Mode loads only a minimal set of drivers, so it will probably exclude the driver that is causing you problems and allow Windows to load. If you can get into Windows through Safe Mode but not through a normal boot, it means that the problem is software-related — more specifically, that it’s related to a driver or program that is loading at startup.
The most common driver to cause problems is the video driver. If Windows locks up at the point where the chosen video mode kicks in (that is, after the splash screen but before you see the mouse pointer), an invalid video mode has probably been chosen. Start in Safe Mode and change the video to a relatively conservative setting, such as 256-color 800×600 with Adapter Default for the refresh rate.
In a situation like the one described above — where Windows boots in Safe Mode but not in normal mode — the obvious solution is to find the item that’s causing the problem and eliminate it. This is often easier said than done, however.
One effective way of doing it is to use the Step-by-step Confirmation option on the Windows Startup menu. Press F8 as the PC is booting to display it; if you see the splash screen, you’ve missed the F8 opportunity; reboot and try again. From that Startup menu, choose Step-by-step Conformation. Then press the Y key to step through each line of the startup. When the line executes that is causing the problem, the PC will lock up, and all you have to do is look at the last text that appeared on the screen to see which driver or program did it.
This doesn’t always work because sometimes an item that’s causing a problem will not have its own separate step in Step-by-step Confirmation. However, it can catch many driver-related errors.

Learning Linux Commands
0 komentarIf you are a complete newbie to Linux, or if you “know enough to be dangerous,” then here are some pointers that may help.
One of the great things about Linux is that, even though the operating system is extensible through the addition of arbitrary commands, there are standards for documenting such commands. Because of these standards, not only is it easy to find out what a command does and how it works, but it’s easy to find out that these commands exist in the first place, even if you don’t know their names.
Commands About Commands:
- man — Display the manual for a command
- whatis — Display a summary of a command (rather than the entire manual)
- apropos — Display a list of commands that pertain to (are apropos to) a keyword
- whereis — Display information about the location of a command: the executable, the source code (if any), and the man pages.
- which — Display which version of a command will execute (for when there are two, or more, commands with the same name installed on the system).
MAN — In previous tips, we mentioned the MAN command. MAN stands for manual. It is the main resource for displaying the documentation (a.k.a. “man pages”) for any particular command. For example, to find out how the LS command works, you would enter
man ls
The man command brings up the first page of the manual, and then waits for navigation keystrokes. The three most commonly used navigation controls are PageUp, PageDown and the letter q (quit). Of course, man has its own man pages.
man man
WHATIS — The whatis command is actually an alias for using the man command with the -f switch (and -f is shorthand for –whatis). So, all of the following are equivalent.
whatis ls
man -f ls
man –whatis ls

How to Upgrade Operating System?
0 komentarOperating System is essential for a computer to function. The Operating system (for example Windows) get updated very often and newer versions are launched at specified intervals. Windows for instance has many versions from windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. The latest and widely used version is XP. By upgrading your Windows Operating System to the latest version enables you to use many latest applications. Computer will function more efficiently. For example users of Windows 98 can consider upgrading to Windows XP.
The price of the FULL version of the new OS will be high. But the upgrade version of the new version will be cheaper. You can buy these Upgrade CDs at a cheaper price and upgrade the OS in your computer.
Things to do before Upgrade:
Before you upgrade your OS, find out whether the hardware that you use in your computer will support the new OS. Always, for newer OS versions you will need a computer with higher processing power. Some older hardware devices may not function in the new OS. Even some older applications may not function in the new Operating System.
First take a list of all the hardware connected to your computer. The CPU speed, RAM size, Hard Disk free space are some of the details you need to check and see if these are sufficient for the newer OS. You can find the minimum hardware requirements for the new OS from the vendor’s website.
Generally while upgrading your OS there will not be any problems. However to be on the safe side, take a backup of your important data and copy it into a CD.
Upgrading the OS:
Once you insert the ‘Upgrade CD’ into the CDROM, the upgradation process will start automatically. Now choose ‘Upgrade’ option instead of ‘Fresh Install’ when it prompts.
While upgrading it prompt and ask you regarding the ‘File System’ to choose. It is better to use the same file system as you have been using all along instead of choosing a new file system.
For example, in a Windows 98 Computer, the file system you are using may be FAT16 or FAT32. When you upgrade to Windows XP, it will ask you whether you want to switch to NTFS file system. There is no doubt that the NTFS is a better file system but if you switch to this NTFS then you can never switch back to FAT 16 or FAT32 again. Therefore use the existing file system.
Things to do after upgrading OS:
After the upgrade process is over, check and see every individual application whether it works. If any of them doesn’t work then uninstall the application properly and reinstall them. If you cannot re install then get help from the application vendor’s website.
Also check and see if all the hardware devices function properly. If any of the hardware device does not function after upgrade then install the appropriate driver for the hardware. Get help from the manufacturer’s website.
Some old hardware maynot be supported in the new OS if that is the case then buy and upgrade your hardware device to the latest.

Facilities of Clipboard in MS Office
0 komentarMS-Office clipboard is used to copy and past the text, pictures and graphics. The copy of the text or picture is getting stored in clipboard. We can past that in any windows application. When coping any text it will overwrite that previous text. What can we do for copy more than on text in MS-Office? Answer this please.
It’s totally different from clipboard in windows operating system.
In MS-Office all the application software contains office clipboard. We will see the facility in this. If work based on cut, copy, paste command. We can store 24 items in this clipboard. While trying to copy the 25th item in the clipboard it will replace the first item from the clipboard.
Due to the following option the menu will automatically open.
1. When you cut or copy more than 2 items in a program
2. In a same program copy one text and past after that copy a text.
3. When you past the same item twice.
When office clipboard started the icon is displayed in the left side of status bar. To show the number of text you can go to edit menu and active it. In that it shows more facilities. To get that facility put tick mark in the facility.
1. To display the clipboard automatically. (No need to go edit menu)
2. When we press the Ctrl + c twice, it shows clipboard.
3. To get the facility even though it does not display.
4. To display the icon in the task bar.
5. To show the copy clipboard it display the status of copied item.
When we active Office clipboard in on office program it does not show other office program. The items are in office clipboard until the entire office programs are closed. Or we can delete it by clicking delete in the menu. We can delete the item selected from text. We can paste or delete the file by left click the item. If we press delete it will delete the item. If we select the past it will paste the item where the cursor is placed. If we paste all, it will paste all the items to the document.
Now a question arises in your mind. What is the difference between both the clipboards? Lets see the answer. While you pasting the items continuously in office clipboard the last item will store in operating system clipboard. When we delete all files in office clipboard the item in OS clipboard also get erased. When you are using (CTRL + V) and paste command it will paste content from operating system clipboard.
